I hired CrawlSpace and More to address foundation settling issues at the back of my home. Cracks had formed upstairs, extending from the corners of a Jack-and-Jill bathroom—clear signs of structural movement.Their team installed piers and attempted to lift the foundation. During the process, the lift caused damage in the middle of my house. I immediately raised concerns and was told by the lead technician that he would return if further issues arose. I made it clear at the time that the problem had not been resolved.After spending approximately $6,000, the underlying issue remained.Two years later, I contacted the company again. They sent an “expert” who identified elevation variances throughout the home—confirming the original problem was never properly corrected. I escalated the issue to management and requested a partial refund, offering to settle for half.The response I received was disappointing. The manager contacted ownership, and I was told flatly that no refund would be provided and that they would “see me in court.”Based on my experience, the work did not resolve the problem, caused additional damage, and the company was unwilling to stand behind their service in any meaningful way.I would strongly encourage others to carefully evaluate their options before hiring this company.
It’s been a pleasure working with the Crawlspace team and Nathan is absolutely great. He was prompt for our estimate, highly knowledgeable and patient. He took his time assessing our concerns inside and outside of my home and I could tell that had a depth of knowledge on home construction. I bought my house almost 3 years ago. It was a flip. A couple months ago I noticed a dip in my floor. I called Crawlspaces and more and Nathan came out for the estimate. Nathan informed me there was a closed of part of the crawlspace that he gained access too, my inspector in 2023 said there was no access to this crawlspace but it turns out there was access through a vent. Nathan opened up the vent and found old termite damage and mold. The flipper didn’t bother to replace the original subflooring and never found the termite damage or mold. Nathan was amazing! He explained everything and how they would have to go through the primary room floor to dig out space in the crawlspace to then replace the rotted joists and be able to encapsulate after that. I needed a couple more joists replaced on the other side of the house and had to have some joists sistered. After they replaced/repaired everything, the crew encapsulated the crawlspace. They also took care of the mold! This massive job only took about 3 days and everyone was wonderful and professional. So happy I went with Crawlspaces and more and highly recommend them!

We had a great experience working with Crawlspaces and More to remove mold and encapsulate our crawlspace. They were a little more affordable than other quotes we received, yet I feel we got better customer service and a better solution offered. Our sales rep, Jonathan, answered all of our questions during the quote and again before we signed to do the work. We had a gfci breaker trip from the mold remediation spray so the workers left air movers behind to assist with drying. It resolved itself in less than 24 hours and the company owner and sales manager came by to check on the issue themselves when it was time to pick up the air movers. I have been needing to encapsulate my crawlspace for a long time. Early this summer the humidity reached 84% in the crawlspace and wasn't falling. The humidity in the house was getting closer to the 70% range. I arranged for three crawlspace vendors to come out and put together a bid. All three vendors did a great job and were great to work with. What put Crawlspaces And More at the top was their very thorough bid and the fact that the sales guy seemed to have a more in-depth knowledge. This came through in his explanations and solution architecting.These guys totally transformed my crawlspace. They had to remove tons of moldy insulation, two old water heaters and a plethora of debris. When they finished they added a bunch of led lights hung from the floor joist. My crawlspace is no longer a scary place!There were a few things that needed follow up after the encapsulation was finished. The dehumidifier was draining into my HVAC condensation pump and that pump was in error mode after the work was completed and running almost constantly. I resolved that issue but wondered why this wasn't checked during the work. The new sump pump was not plugged in so I worried that it was not tested. The breaker that it would plug into was also tripped so I imagine that happened when they were using some power tools down there. Would have been good to notify the homeowner. The condensation line from the dehumidifier dipped down before draining into the pump and this lead to condensation moisture making a puddle (I fixed this by rerouting the tube so that it no longer had a dip in it). I mention these things because you really need to make sure you do your own walk through. No one is perfect and encapsulating a 3500 sqft crawlspace is HARD work. Things will fall through the cracks. My sales guy responded to me quick when i mentioned these things to him. He offered to help but I got them sorted and he congratulated me on my resourcefulness.I had some concerns that not all the mold was removed and during some heavy rains I had an old pit that wasn't fully filled up and leveled off fill up with some water that popped through the barrier. I mentioned this to my sales guy (Jordan) over the weekend and I got a call from the service folks Monday morning. They came out a few days later and resolved those issues at no additional charge. They even removed the barrier from the sump covering so that I can easily inspect it for myself (it was covered during the initial work so i was unable to test it).These guys are professionals and my crawlspace humidity now hovers around 45% without the dehumidifier having to run very often. For the first time in a long time I am able to keep my humidity levels inside the house consistently under 60% (avg around 55%). The air inside the house is healthier. I am happy with this company and I highly recommend them.
Crawlspaces and More was a great company to work with. They were very professional and we had them do evaluations of two houses (the first one of which we didn't purchase because of their thorough investigation of all the work that needed done). They did a killer job and were in and out in no time with high quality work replacing the sill plate that had rotted out, providing support via a number of Jimbo jacks, and installing a french drain in the crawlspace. The 4 stars is only because I don't feel like I was properly warned about the damage that could occur inside during the process of replacing the sill plate. We had cracking in the drywall occur around all the windows at the front of the house as well as minor cracking to the grout of our backsplash inside our kitchen which is adjacent to the front of our house.All in all, I would highly recommend them but I'm sure that someone less level headed than myself would have been wildly upset about the damage that occured because of lifting the house in order to make that repair.

Crawl space came out to give a quote for waterproofing. I’ve had four companies to quote. The other companies missed the real problem then gave me an enormously expensive quote. But Crawl Space hit the right target. It wasn’t even Waterproofing’s needed. It was a gutter on the top of the house that was causing the rainwater to seep into the roof. Nathan came to mine and my husband’s home. My husband owns a construction company. (David Gatti construction.) We were both amazed at the level of integrity and professionalism of this company. There was an unforeseen problem with our plumbing in the process of lifting our house up. Nathan took it upon himself to take the toilet apart , jackhammer the flooring and redo the plumbing fittings. It took him two days and he did it with perfection. Per Dave, "I am so impressed by his ability to figure things out, and it’s all due to the experience of the owner and thought process of training his employees to figure things out on the job. They were one of the only companies to not suggest installing a sump pump and the external waterproofing job they did has held up to a rigorous test. Appreciated that they offered a lifetime warranty (with annual payment for inspection/blockage clearing). Very professional and helped balance budget vs project parameters. Would absolutely recommend them and would (hopefully not) use them again.
I recently hired Crawlspaces and More for foundation and waterproofing work, including a full basement encapsulation, French drains, structural support, and installation of a dehumidifier. The team was incredibly thorough during the initial inspection and offered well-thought-out solutions to my issues—this gave me confidence to move forward, even though they weren’t the cheapest option.Communication was a bit difficult after the quote, but once we reconnected, everything moved quickly and the work was completed in just two days. The crew was friendly and efficient, but I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 because they didn’t treat my property with the care I expected. There was leftover trash in the fireplace, cement residue on the lawn, and some damage to plants and newly planted trees.Overall, I’m happy with the results and would recommend them—but with the caveat that you walk the property with the crew beforehand to point out anything you’d like them to be mindful of.

Overall the experience was excellent. I probably received 5 estimates from different companies to encapsulate my crawlspace and add additional supports and Crawl Spaces and More was the most cost effective. The sales rep, Landon, who initially came to our home to do the estimate was very professional and personable. I ask a lot of questions and he was happy to answer each one with a timely response.The 6 man crew that actually came out to do the work was very proficient at what they do. In total it took maybe 6 hours to clean the crawlspace out, put in five additional jacks, insulate, and encapsulate my crawlspace. The guys there were also very personable and respectful of my home. They made sure to ask if I wanted to keep anything from under the crawlspace and they thoroughly cleaned up the work area before they left. The crew lead Jose, was very knowledgeable, I think he said he had 20 years of experience in doing this type of work.I would definitely recommend giving these guys at Crawlspaces and More a call and at least allow them to give you a quote for whatever work you need done. Monday rolls around, and I receive a wonderful phone call from Jessica. She was knowledgeable and answered all my questions. When I asked for something out of the ordinary for her company, she was able to recommend me to another provider who could do the services I required. The work they did in our dugout crawlspace (8’ high once you get into the space) was beyond our expectations. We had a rodent issue living behind a restaurant and they mitigated it by cementing over the exposed ground and creating barriers for the other entry points.I will always be grateful.

Couldn't rave enough about crawlspaces & more. We requested a quote for crawl space encapsulation and suspending HVAC ducting off the ground. Nathan did an excellent job explaining the process and pricing. The workers sent to do the job were professional, quiet, clean and asked me to review work before they left to address any concerns. Nathan followed up immediately to make sure I was satisfied with the service. He even came back and brought us Jimbo Jack Hats that we inquired about which my husband loves btw! Thank you Nathan! Only complaint we had is that one of the workers cut a live wire before testing to see if power was shut off. It did not cause any complications, but was a safety concern that could have gone wrong. This is not a reflection of the company though. I have already recommended them to others. Pricing was in the middle of all 5 of our quotes but ultimately Nathan sold the job to us because he felt knowledgeable and trustworthy!

Jim Briley and the team at Crawlspaces are competent professionals who have fixed water issues at three of my homes. Most recently they fixed a negative slant on my Midtown condo patio that is 6 stories off the ground. Water used to stand for three days after even a slight rain effectively rendering the patio useless. It only took two days for the fix and not a drop of water rolls towards my apartment.

The team came out yesterday (2/5/24) to install a couple of French drains - one in a crawl space with a sump pump and the other on an exterior wall. They showed up on time, did the work as quoted and cleaned up after they finished - very professional crew and I am very happy with their work!
Crawl Space Bros installed a new vapor barrier under our 1948 house. They are very professional, and I would use them again.
I used crawlspaces and more in Sept 2023 for mold remediation in the crawl space and vapor barrier install, they charged we $3,000 for it. I was happy with the completed work. They suggested I get a French drain, but I declined because I didn't have a water issue that required a French drain.Current day, I'm having water issues, from puddling happening on the exterior raised bed. Since I had a good experience the first time, I called to request the pricing on catch basin drainage install and foundation sealing. Nathan proceeds to argue me down how I should have gotten the French drain when he suggested, and it would now be triple the price! I explained him I don't want the french drain on the interior of the crawlspace as it would not take care of the leakage and only disperse the incoming water and that I was looking for a permanent solution to keep the crawl space dry and protected.He proceeds to tell me that since water seepage into the ground isn't at a high rate of speed it won't cause damage to my foundation, and the job it's not worth enough money to come back out to take care of my external drainage issues. This company knows of the issues I've had to overcome with a house I just purchase. Then he says to me didn't you say you were going to sell it. It's my first home purchase in this economy that I was horribly scammed on. Given I had every contractor in book at this house to fix various things that suddenly went wrong. I am so disappointed to be treated so inhumanely by a company I had a positive experience with.

Crawl Spaces and More solved our crawl space drainage problem about four years ago, and it has been trouble-free since then, even through the recent 5-inch rain event. They were prompt, flexible, and thorough, at a reasonable price.
I received three different quotes from different encapsulation/ waterproofing companies. I liked the presentation Nathan provided. He was knowledgeable and responsive to all my questions. I received an estimate the same day. The estimate was accurate, easy to understand, and they were open to making changes. I ultimately went with a 10 mil vapor barrier (we have a tight space that doesn’t allow for us to use for walking around),, the dehumidifier, and insulation. The price was competitive, actually several thousand dollars less compared to the other quotes. They were on time, did exactly what we had discussed and I am happy with the end result. I would definitely recommend them to anyone considering crawl space encapsulation.

Jim and his crew came out several years ago and did a wonderful repair job for us on our home. We had an issue with a water issue on our front porch and drainage issue around the side of our house. Jim came and discussed our situation and came up with solid plan to engineer drainage systems to take care of both issues at a reasonable cost. They also gave us a 15 year warranty on the work. We had one sight issue several months later and Jim and team came right out and fixed the issue. No issues since then. We are grateful and would recommend Jim and team to anyone looking for a reputable company to do solid work at a fair price.

Amazing job they came in to save the day after we almost went with another company. The technician that came out to do the inspection was extremely thorough. He crawled through the entire crawlspace (see after photo it was a very tight space) taking detailed pictures and pointing out concerns. The office did a great job of keeping us informed of timeline and the install crew didn’t disappoint either. Would definitely recommend them to friends and family!
I needed a full encapsulation done on my house to replace an old vapor barrier that had holes all over and wasn’t overlapped and sealed. I worked with Nathan and he was very responsive to any questions I had and any concerns I brought up. He was very professional and explained all of the work that was going to be done. On the day of, the team arrived on time and started work right away. A crew of about 5-6 and worked very efficiently. I couldn’t be happier with the end result as I already see a improvement in air quality and humidity levels as well as a more cleaner looking crawlspace that I can now see more clearly with the additional lighting. I would highly recommend this company to anyone that is looking for foundation work. Crawlspaces and more came out as soon as the weather would allow and installed four piers on the side of my house where the foundation had busted from water damage that was caused by a break in the septic pipe. They worked in a timely manner and my two boys loved watching them work with the excavator. 10/10 I would use this company again if we have other problems with our foundation in other areas. I pray that we don't, but if we do I know who to call.i am also going to be calling to get a quote on crawlspace encapsulation. That seems like it would be a great investment into my home and family's health.
This company is great! I had a deck and master closet that was a previous add on and they were showing some serious signs of settling. Of course as a home owner I freaked out and didn't see how it could be fixed. I got multiple quotes and the first two were over $50,000.00 which added to my stress. I had Crawl spaces and more come out and they quoted me under $9,000.00 and said it could be fixed in a day, versus a couple of weeks. I chose to go with them since they were one of two companies that actually went into my crawlspace to assess what needed to be done, and the work they described made sense and was less intrusive. Jim called back quickly and assessed my needs (which were initially small - just a foundation post replacement) and worked me in very rapidly - doing the job himself since it was too small for his crew. When he came over he proved very knowledgeable, friendly and professional such that I elected to have him do more work.The subsequent work required a full crew and involved moving my sump pump, encapsulating the crawl space and mold treatment. They were on-time, friendly and completed the work quickly and without fuss. They also accommodated a tight timeframe due to a house closing. Jessica in their front office does a great job of scheduling and is very pleasant to speak with on the phone - which I appreciated. I highly recommend giving them a call if you have any crawlspace or foundation issues.
Jim and his team did a wonderful job encapsulating my crawlspace and removing/replacing moldy wood beams. They got the job done extremely quickly, and even helped out with some furnace issues I was having at no extra cost.

Two years ago, after a much more expensive and high pressured sales pitch from a well-known competitor, our neighbor recommended Crawlspaces and More because he knew someone who worked there. CS&M came out and gave us a quote and we really liked the price and everything they said they would do for us to encapsulate our basement but we decided to hold off at that time. Fast forward to Fall of 2021, we decided we really needed to have the work done. My husband called again and even though our original contact no longer worked for the company, they still had all of the job notes and original quote which they honored. The workers were nice, professional, and came on time for the workdays. They even were able to start a day earlier than planned. They did not require payment until all work was finished and we were satisfied. I would not hesitate to call Crawlspaces and More again!

CAM did a great job securing our 1961 crawlspace and also some waterrproofing around the perimeter of our house. Professional on time and a reasonable cost. Hard to find this day and age. Planning on using them again for our vacation home!
Last spring, 2019, with all the rain we had in the winter, i had serious water issues with my crawlspace. I had had my crawlspace encapsulated many years ago by a firm that is no longer in business. I called numerous plumbers to come look at my problem, with no one interested in taking on the project. I knew I would need a sump pump to begin with but was concerned about water flow outside of the crawlspace as well as how to deal with the encapsulated crawlspace to solver the water problem. Once i got Crawlspaces and More's contact information, they quickly set up an appointment to come inspect the problem. They provided what sounded to me like a sound solution at a reasonable price and provided a timely schedule to do the work. They arrived as scheduled, did the work very quickly and were very good with their clean up after completion of the job. I give them a top rating and highly recommend them.
